How we build

We don't replace the core. We build around it.

The platforms that run a large organisation — SAP, Workday, Coupa, ServiceNow — are the structured backbone, and they should stay exactly where they are. We don't rip them out; we build the innovation layer on top of them. Every build runs through the same five rules.

[ 01 — QUESTION ]
01

Question
every requirement.

Every requirement comes from a person, never a department — so we put a name to each one and challenge it on the merits. We question the requirement, never the system of record it runs on. The most dangerous ones come from the smartest people in the room, because no one dares push back. We do.

Name the ownerNo sacred cows
[ 02 — DELETE ]
02

Delete
parts and processes.

We never rip out the system of record. What we delete is everything that has piled up around it — the shadow spreadsheets, the manual re-keying, the duplicate approvals and one-off tools. The best part is no part; if we don't add about 10% back later, we didn't cut deep enough.

The best part is no part
[ 03 — SIMPLIFY ]
03

Simplify
and optimize.

Only now — after questioning and deleting. The classic mistake is optimizing something that should never have existed in the first place. With what survives the cut, we make each piece simpler, clearer and cheaper to run.

Optimize what's left
[ 04 — ACCELERATE ]
04

Accelerate
cycle time.

Speed up everything that remains — faster intake, faster approvals, faster close. But never before the first three steps: accelerating in the wrong direction just reaches the wrong place sooner.

Speed comes fourth
[ 05 — AUTOMATE ]
05

Automate.

Last, never first. Once a process has been questioned, deleted down, simplified and sped up, then — and only then — we automate it. Automate too early and all you've done is scale a broken process.

Automate last
